Leatherhead captain Will Salmon says that new signings have helped to reignite their play-off push.
After drawing to Merstham at the end of January, Leatherhead manager Nikki Bull said he’d started to give up on the play-offs but has made a number of signings to bolster his squad and seen his side win four of their six games since.
And Salmon is fully behind his manager’s recruitment and praises his teams’ upturn in form.
He said: “Results have picked up and we’ve had a couple of good wins. The gaffer has brought in a couple of new faces with the likes of Sam Blackman, Charlie Sheringham, Danny Rowe and Stefan Brown, to name a few.
“They’ve come in from a higher standard, so they’re dropping down to come to us which is always a benefit to our players because they’re more experienced and technically better.”
