Yeovil Town manager Darren Sarll has reiterated his belief in the current group of players.

The Glovers were beaten 2-1 at home to Bromley yesterday evening, with the visitors’ winner coming four minutes into stoppage time.

Sarll told the club’s website: “I think this group has real promise and it’s still a long way to go yet. I said to the players beforehand not to worry about the talk, about the play-offs, about our league position, just concentrate on having really high performances and the results will take care of themselves.

“It’s a tight league at the moment but it’s all about taking the opportunities when they come around to push up the table. Tonight was probably the youngest team that I’ve ever put out and I’m really excited about the group going forward.

“I think they are very close to jumping over that last hurdle and I really believe that. It’s just a case of building as much momentum as possible going forward.”
