Hemel Hempstead Town have signed 26-year-old midfielder Matt Saunders for a second spell at Vauxhall Road.

Saunders was originally signed by Hemel from National League side Dover Athletic in November 2014 after just over two months at Crabble, having joined Dover in from Hemel`s league rivals Whitehawk.




He graduated from Fulham’s academy and in January 2010 he joined then League Two club Lincoln City on a one-month loan deal, later re-joining them for another loan and made a total of eighteen appearances for the Imps, scoring 3 goals.

In February 2012, he joined Sky Bet League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge on an eighteen-month contract and went on to make forty-one appearances for the Daggers and scored 4 goals.

After making five appearances for the Tudors he was signed by National League side Aldershot Town.
