Nuneaton Town midfielder Kristian Scott has spoken about his return to The Coombe Abbey Arena just weeks after departing for AFC Fylde.

“I had a good chat with the Gaffer and it made sense to return to the club,” said the former USA Youth International. “To know that you have the trust and confidence of a manager who allows you to go out there and express yourself is a real boost; he wanted me back here and part of his team and I am only too happy to return.

“The challenge now is to help the team move up the table. The next two games are massive at home to teams below us in the table, so it’s an opportunity for us to build on the win at Boston.”

Scott has slotted straight back into life at Boro and is plotting a positive end to the season.

“There’s always been a good spirit amongst the lads but last weekend’s win has given us a real determination to go on and finish the season strongly,” he added. “Everyone is positive and looking ahead and it’s a good environment to be in.”
