New Scarborough Athletic manager Steve Kittrick has been busy ahead of the North Riding Senior Cup Quarter-Final against Marske United, adding a further two players to his squad and letting winger Fernando Moke leave.
Following the additions of Tom McNamee and Nicky Draper over the weekend, Kittrick has also secured the signing of Dave Merris.
The 35-year-old defender has joined from Ossett Town, where he was player/assistant manager. Merris will be familiar to supporters of Scarborough FC as he was part of the York City side that was involved in a number of derby games against Boro for the Minstermen.
He has also had two stints with Harrogate Town as well as a spell at Kittrick’s former side Guiseley between 2008-2012.
Also joining is 20-year-old Richmond Lee, who has spent time at Fleetwood Town Under-21s and Ilkeston Town.
Over the weekend Fernando Moke has also left the club to join Ossett Town. The 27-year-old made 11 starts and 2 sub appearances for the club since joining from Droylesden, scoring twice.
