Runcorn Linnets have signed River Humphreys for a second time.
The capture further boosts Michael Ellison’s defensive options.
Central defender River enjoyed a successful two-year original spell with the Linnets but left in summer of 2016 after winning the Fiat Professional Tradesman Trials.
This national competition gave the plasterer a shot at professional football but a spell at Rochdale didn’t work out for the now 27-year-old.
He returns to The Millbank Linnets Stadium after stints at Bangor City, Widnes and, most recently, Radcliffe Borough.
