Havant & Waterlooville have confirmed the departure of seven players.
Following the Hawks’ defeat in the National League South play-off semi-final to Dartford last weekend, the following players are to move on:
Nicky Bailey, Dean Beckwith, Joe Cook, Jake Flannigan, Danny Kedwell, Chris Paul and Bradley Tarbuck.
The club say they are in talks with Josh Taylor over a new deal. Manager Paul Doswell told the club’s website: “We were agonisingly close to achieving our goals and we thank each and every player for their commitment and effort to the club this season.
“We are committed to going down a route of offering good young players the opportunity to play here, and with the current budget restrictions, we have to look at each offer really carefully. We are in talks with a number of players to join the football club, and these will be announced over the next six-to-eight weeks.”
