FC Halifax Town have signed Keil O’Brien on month`s loan from National League side Southport.
O’Brien has made four appearances so far this season for The Sandgrounders.
O`Brien started his career at Manchester United’s youth academy before going on to make sixty appearances for Mossley AFC, and fifty-nine appearances for Chorley where he won the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League title in 2014.
Manager Andy Bishop felt O`Brien would benefit from a spell of prolonged exposure to first-team football and will continue to be in and around the first-team squad upon his return.
