Following last night’s result against Leek Town, Sheffield FC’s Mark Hume has made the decision to step down as 1st team manager.

He told the club: “For a number of reasons, things just haven’t worked as I’d expected and for the benefit of this club, which I have a real feeling for, it is time for a change of manager. Everyone at the club has been really helpful and welcoming and I shall miss it.”

Mark Shaw has been appointed as caretaker manager and will be assisted by Chris Dolby and Matt Roney.
