Nantwich Town striker Ricardo Fuller has said that the Dabbers will be ready to “go again on Saturday” after their excellent victory away at league leaders South Shields at the weekend.
The former Stoke City forward came off the bench against the Mariners on Saturday, and notched his second goal of the season with a fine effort from close-range after nicking the ball from a mis-hit pass across the defence.
“First and foremost it was a great result.
“Beating the top team in the league is always going to be a tall order and a tall ask but we did that convincingly, so it was a magnificent result.”
After a few weeks of absence due to injury, the striker made his return last week against Bamber Bridge before his cameo off the bench against South Shields at the weekend, and the striker admits it was a great experience.
“Obviously over the last few weeks I’ve had a few niggles and a groin strain so coming off the bench was ideal for me today.”
