Adam Gell has departed Whitby Town, opting to sign for Northern League side Shildon for an undisclosed fee.
Gell was transfer-listed earlier this week, after failing to feature regularly for the Blues in recent weeks.
The midfielder was a popular figure for the Seasiders, known for his hard work in the middle of park and for being a calming influence when on the ball.
Gell will perhaps be best remembered in blue for the 30-yard strike against Barwell that kept the Seasiders in the Evo-Stik Premier at the end of the 2015-16 season.
