Bernard Mensah has re-joined Vanarama National League club Aldershot Town on loan for the remainder of the season from League One side Bristol Rovers.

Mensah signed a scholarship with Watford in April 2011 having impressed with his goalscoring for the club in the FA Youth Cup.

After scoring 12 goals in 14 appearances for under-18s he was handed a new deal Vicarage Road until 2016 and was sent to Portugese side Vitoria Guimaraes on loan, having made his Watford senior debut in November 2013 against Bolton.

He made just two senior appearances for the Hornets and was sent out on loan to Braintree Town and Barnet.

Across his three spells with Braintree and Barnet, Mensah made 30 appearances and scored 4 goals.

In July 2016 he signed a permanent deal with Aldershot, hit the ground running, racking up 13 goals in 47 appearances, and added 4 goals in 15 matches prior to his move to Rovers in January 2018.
