National League side Aldershot Town have signed former Brighton forward Shamir Fenelon following his departure from Crawley Town.

The 21-year-old scored two goals in 33 appearances for the Reds last season, and had a spell on loan in National League South with Whitehawk.

“I need to get myself going again and get back to my best,” he said.

“Our ambitions match each other and working with Gary Waddock is the best place for me to be, to rebuild myself.”

Aldershot have not disclosed the length of Fenelon’s deal at the EBB Stadium.
