Defender Joe Oastler has become Gosport Borough’s latest signing with the 25 year-old making the move from Aldershot Town.
Pike has been quick to sign the experienced defender after Ryan Woodford decided to leave the club and drop down to play in the Isthmian League with Havant & Waterlooville.
Oastler started his career in the youth set-up at Portsmouth before joining Bognor Regis Town. However his stay at Nyewood Lane was brief as he moved to Queens Park Rangers after only three games for The Rocks.
Whilst at QPR, Joe spent two periods out on loan with Salisbury City and Torquay United but did make his Championship debut for the west London club in 2010.
In 2011 he moved to Torquay permanently before returning to Hampshire in 2013 with Aldershot.
