Aldershot Town have signed Scottish under-21 international defender Dominic Hyam on loan from Championship side Reading until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has previously enjoyed loan spells at Hemel Hempstead Town and Basingstoke Town in National League South, and last season also made sixteen appearances in League Two with Dagenham & Redbridge.
In August 2016, Hyam began a further three-month loan spell with Portsmouth, before playing for the Royals in their Checkatrade Trophy tie against Yeovil Town in January.
Born in Leuchars in Fife, Hyam has won five caps for the Scotland under-21 side, and in 2013 was part of the Reading team which reached the Premier Academy League final.
He signed an extension to his professional contract at the Madejski Stadium in May 2016.
Hyam is available for selection as The Shots travel to Macclesfield Town on Saturday.
