Macclesfield Town manager John Askey has issued the following statement following Saturday’s home defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge.
“I would like to apologise to the people behind the dugout. I had a moan born out of frustration and I understand their frustrations too. If I offended anyone please come and have a chat at the Maidstone game on Tuesday and I will apologise personally.“
