Macclesfield Town manager John Askey admits tonight’s away trip to Dover will be a difficult game for the Silkmen, but believes his side can get a result at the Crabble Athletic Ground.

It is the second away trip in quick succession for Macclesfield, after Saturday’s visit to now league champions Lincoln.

Speaking after the defeat on Saturday, Askey is hoping for a similar performance from his players, who came close to upsetting Lincoln’s title party at the weekend.

“It’s going to be tough, we’ve had a lot of games but hopefully the lads can roll their sleeves up again and whatever game you play in you want to try and win it”.

“Dover obviously still have something to play for as well so we’ll go there with the same sort of commitment that we did here and hopefully we can come away with a good result”.
