Tomorrow will see Macclesfield Town hope to put the disappointment of Saturday’s Woking result behind them and head to the midlands to face Solihull Moors, as they look to return to winning ways.

The past two games between the two sides haven’t been short on goals with last season’s matches ending in 2-3 and 1-3 score lines.

Before the clash, John Askey took some time out to speak to about Saturday’s opponents.

“We’re looking forward to the game, Saturday was a big disappointment but that’s going to happen throughout the season so we’ve got to make sure we make amends on Saturday and hopefully we can do”

“Solihull picked up a good win in midweek against Chester which we saw. They’ve got a striker up front who is scoring goals for them and doing well, so it’ll be a tough game. However, if we can play like we did on Saturday but take our chances then we’ll have a great chance.”

Askey also said that it’s a great chance for his Macclesfield side to put another winning run together ahead of the upcoming games at Moss Rose.
