FC United of Manchester have confirmed that Sam Madeley has left the club to sign for National League outfit Macclesfield Town
The Silkmen have immediately put Madeley out on loan to FC United`s league rivals Stalybridge Celtic.
Madeley joined FC United from Salford City at the start of the 2015/16 season.
The pacey forward appeared in thirty-five games for FC United, starting twenty-one and scoring 11 goals.
Madeley’s last start for FC United was in a 5-0 defeat away at Harrogate Town on 20th February. He then picked up an injury which kept him out of majority of the remaining matches of last season and the start of this season.
He briefly came on as substitute in this season’s away defeat at Salford.
