Macclesfield Town can confirm that they have bolstered their squad with several non-contract signings.
A number of these players featured in Thursday night’s open trial fixture and all are eligible for Tuesday’s Cheshire Cup tie at Winsford United.
They included midfielders Olalekan Rabiu, Aaron Knight, Callum Harris and Richard Ainscough, goalkeeper Robert Cooke and striker Rico Gomes.
Rabiu is a left-sided midfielder who joined Hastings United from Ryman Division One North side Chatham Town in 2015.
The 22-year-old has also gained previous Ryman League experience with VCD Athletic.
Gomes is a former Manchester United trainee who, since being released from Old Trafford, has had spells with Stalybridge Celtic and Greek side AS Thesprotos Igoumenitsas.
Twenty-year-old midfielder Knight came through the ranks at Bolton Wanderers and signed a two-year professional deal in 2014.
He recently joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Warrington Town.
Welshman Harris is a 20-year-old midfielder who started out with Manchester City and then Blackburn Rovers as well as a spell in the Nike Academy.
He signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers in March 2015 and was a regular in their under-21 side.
Goalkeeper Cooke, 23, has played in the Hallmark Security League for Congleton Town, while Chorley-born midfielder Ainscough, 23, has been in the United States where he attended Runshaw College and played for New York Buffalos.
