Macclesfield Town have completed the signing of winger Andy Haworth.
The 28-year-old joins on a deal for the remainder of the 2016/17 season after his contract at Barrow was mutually ended.
Haworth, who began his career with Blackburn Rovers brings plenty of experience to the Moss Rose. Whilst at Ewood Park he had loans with the likes of Gateshead and Rochdale before a switch to Bury in 2010.
Over two years at Bury he made 45 appearances, scoring three goals. He also had loans with Oxford and Bradford before moving to Falkirk on a permanent deal in 2012.
From there Haworth moved to the likes of Rochdale, Notts County, Tamworth and Cheltenham before a switch to Barrow in 2015 initially on loan.
This term has seen Andy feature in 15 National League games for the Cumbrian side although these have mainly come from the bench.
He will now look to get some more minutes for the Silkmen. Andy is ineligible for Macclesfield tomorrow but could make his debut against Torquay next weekend.
