Peter Wylie has agreed to re-join Skelmersdale United
Peter started out with Blackburn Rovers Academy, where he was a regular in the under 21 side, he moved to Skelmersdale United (his home town club) in the summer of 2013 after a spell on trial with Sheffield Wednesday, he soon established himself in the Skem team.
In Spring 2015 Peter moved to Stalybridge Celtic where then manager Liam Watson made him a big part of his National League North side, Watson having moved to the Bower Fold side with the brief of saving them from relegation, a move they achieved.
The next season Watson took his Stalybridge ream including Wylie to a solid position in the table.
Watson left the Cheshire side and joined Southport in August 2016 and both Wylie and now Skelmersdale Assistant Manager Tony Sullivan who was coaching at Celtic left the club. Wylie signed for Warrington Town and Sullivan eventually joined Skelmersdale.
So long serving manager Tommy Lawson and his Assistant Sullivan know all about Peter Wylie and see the move as a great development as they re-build the Skelmersdale United team.
