Slough Town have signed central midfielder Billy Clifford on loan from Billericay Town until the end of the season.
Clifford is Slough-born and bred and lives just a few minutes from Arbour Park. He was highly rated as a youngster at Chelsea before going on to play in the Football League for several clubs, most recently Crawley Town, who he left at the end of last season.
This season he started at Hemel Hempstead, where he came to Slough’s attention, before following manager Dean Brennan to Billericay.
Clifford trained with Slough last night and will be in the squad for the game with Dartford tomorrow.
