Vanarama National League club Macclesfield Town have announced that assistant manager Efe Sodje has left the club.
The Silkmen released a short statement on their website confirming that the former Bury and Crewe Alexandra centre back had now departed.
The statement read “Macclesfield Town can today announce that Efe Sodje has left his position at the Football Club.
“The Football Club will be making no further comment on this matter”
Sodje, who won twelve international caps with Nigeria, rejoined Macclesfield in June 2013 as assistant manager to John Askey.
His previous spell at Moss Rose came between 1997 and 1999, as he left Stevenage Borough to join the the Silkmen shortly after their promotion into the Football League
