Vanarama National League South new boys Hampton & Richmond Borough have added another potent prong to their attacking fore as Woking favourite Giuseppe Sole has chosen to move to Beveree as manager Alan Dowson makes a clear statement of intent.

Sole spent ten years at Kingsfield but was not offered another contract at the end of last season and Dowson was able to persuade him to join the Beavers.

Over the years, the 27-year-old forward has scored some memorable goals for the Cards and he will sorely missed by the Kingsfield fans.

In signing Sole, Dowson has made a real declaration of intent: “I think Gez will fit in well to our dressing room, and that it shows there won’t be any complacency in it. Everyone will have to earn their place.”

During his time at the Cards, Sole also made an England C appearance but in the last season appears to have been used as an impact player, coming off the bench to change games.
