Solihull Moors have announced that they have signed both Jordan Murphy and Dan Sweeney in time for the start of the new season.
22-year-old Murphy joins from AFC Telford United. He will bolster Moors attacking options and has impressed in pre-season.
He started out at Stourbridge before being snapped up by Walsall in September 2014. He made his Saddlers debut on 14 February 2015 in a 1–0 defeat to Port Vale at the Bescot Stadium.
He has had three loan spells at Worcester City, where he was part of the team that knocked out Coventry City and took Scunthorpe United to a replay in the FA Cup. He also a had a brief time with Kidderminster Harriers before signing last season for National North Telford United.
Dan Sweeney, 20, came through the Kidderminster Harriers academy and signed a professional deal at Aggborough ahead of the 2015/16 season at just 17 years old.
He enjoyed productive loan spells at Halesowen Town and Stourport Swifts, scoring nine goals in 26 games for the latter. He left Kiddy in May 2017 and has recently been struggling with injury.
Sweeney is a winger and will be no stranger to Tyrone Williams and Luke Maxwell, from their time at Harriers.
