Josh Solomon-Davies is out to reward the belief invested in him by Marine.

The former Tranmere Rovers youngster has signed a new deal with the club, having been part of their headline-making FA Cup run this season.

Manager Neil Young has hailed the 21-year-old as the best right-back in the Northern Premier League North West Division, and it is that kind of support that Solomon-Davies is keen to pay back.

He told the club’s website: “I am very excited about the future of this club. Speaking to the gaffer and listening to how he wants to take us forward, it was a no-brainer when I was offered the contract.

“I’ve enjoyed my football more than ever here, and everyone, including the fans, have made me feel welcome.

“The gaffer and Morgs have showed faith in me by giving me the opportunity of playing, so I can only be thankful and come back next season ready to push for that promotion!”
