Southport have decided to recall defender Billy Priestley from his loan spell at FC United of Manchester.

Priestley joined the club two months ago and was set to stay with FC until the start of January 2019.

The Burnley-born central defender signed for Southport from Alfreton in December 2017 and has currently made 22 appearances for the Port, four of which have been during the 2018/19 season.

FC United are under the management of new boss Neil Reynolds, who recently left Bamber Bridge to take up the role.
