Matt Easten has resigned as manager of Spalding United.

Easten’s departure was confirmed this morning by chairman Andy Gay, who tweeted: “It is with regret I have to inform you all that Matt Easton has resigned from his position as manager of Spalding United. I would like to thank Matt for all he has done for the club.

“I wish him all the best for the future and he will always be welcome at Spalding United.”

Easten stepped up to the role of manager last September. Spalding currently sit 9th in the BetVictor Northern Premier League South East Division.
