Spalding United have signed three players, as new manager Gabriel Zakuani looks to help reshape the squad.

Forward Chris Assombalonga, brother of Middlesbrough’s Britt Assombalonga, joins.

So too do towering defender Jordan Foster and wide player Glenn Yala Bolasie (younger brother of Everton’s Yannick Bolasie).

On Foster, manager Zakuani said: “Jordan is a player I’ve always had my eye on and I’ve had to work hard to get him on board. He’s a big strong lad who will give us the physicality I feel we’ve been lacking.

“I’m looking forward to working with him.”
