Bradford Park Avenue signed versatile Jamie Spencer on loan from Championship side Huddersfield Town ahead of the deadline.
The central midfielder, who is equally comfortable in defence, joins Mark Bower’s squad until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old was captain of Huddersfield’s under-18 side last season, earning his first professional contract, and lining up for the under-23s this term.
He joins Avenue not in unfamiliar surroundings, with his mother Jayne the club’s Community Development Manager.
Meanwhile, Tom Davie has made his switch to league rivals Gainsborough Trinity permanent.
Davie had been on loan at Trinity until the penultimate game of the season, but he now joins them permanently to allow him to play in what could prove a vital final match.
