Spennymoor Town have announced changes to the club’s board.

The National League North club say these are ‘commercially-driven changes’, with two additions to the board as non-executive directors.

Phil Andrew becomes business development director, with Teesside International Airport’s interim managing director Phil Forster joining as a non-executive director.

Chief executive Brad Groves is to hand over greater autonomy to managing director Tony Wilson, while non-executive director Debra Swinburn will continue to oversee all legal and compliance matters.

Additonally, Adam Brown will step down from his role on the board due to increased responsibilities with the GAS Group and GF Community Foundation.
