Evo-Stik NPL First Division North club Spennymoor Town FC have signed Jordan Blinco on an initial months loan from Sunderland AFC.

First Team Manager Jason Ainsley commented ‘Jordan is a local lad to Spennymoor and is someone whom we have kept our eye on for a couple of months and after his recent successful spell with Boston United. His enthusiasm to come and play for us was a good move for both parties.

After losing Lewis Hawkins and parting company with Scott Kerr it was important we brought in someone who can add quality and play in several positions to help us cement our place in the playoffs in the coming month.

I would like to personally thank Kevin Ball and Sunderland AFC for allowing this deal to happen and hopefully it will go as well as our previous loans with Hartlepool United and Middlesbrough FC.’

Blinco himself said ‘I just can’t wait to get started and hopefully I can contribute to goals and push the team into the playoffs’
