Nathan Tyson admits he has suffered a “stop-start” season at Notts County – but is hoping to play a key role in Chesterfield’s survival bid.
Tyson sealed a loan move to the Spireites on Friday in deal that will see him stay with John Pemberton’s side until the end of the campaign.
The conditions of the loan means he is ineligible for this weekend’s National League clash between the sides as Chesterfield aim for a vital win in their bid to beat the drop.
“With the rebuilding process at County over the summer it was tough,” he told Spireites Digital.
“It’s been a bit stop-start for me this season, hence why I have come on loan here.
“Stepping down to this league, there isn’t much difference from League Two, to be honest.
“It’s exciting, it’s high tempo, some of the pitches aren’t great but you have to get on with it.”
