Eastleigh have made defender Ayo Obileye and striker Ryan Bird available for immediate permanent transfer.

Obileye is a central defender who signed for the Spitfires last summer from Charlton Athletic.

The 22-year-old started his career with Leyton Orient before spells with Chelsea, Sheffield Wednesday and Dagenham & Redbridge.

He has also had a loan spell with Dover Athletic this season.

Obileye`s first-team chances have been very limited at Eastleigh owing to the      number of quality centre-backs available and it is thought in the best interest of the player that he be allowed a transfer to further his own career.

Bird is a striker who signed in July from Yeovil Town.

The 29-year-old started his career at Burnham where 114 goals from 297 appearances saw moves into the Football League with Portsmouth 20 apps/3 gls, Cambridge United (37/15), Hartlepool United (6/2). then Yeovil (36/8).

He has been unable to gain a regular starting place in the side so far this season but has still managed 7 goals from eighteen appearances.

Both players are on contract with Eastleigh and contact in the first instance should be through director of football Matt Lewton on 07557 795387
