City of Liverpool have announced that main sponsor Regenda Homes have extended their partnership with the club for a further two seasons.

The announcement was made on the Regenda website, and to celebrate the deal, COLFC Media Director and Programme Editor Gary Johansen took part in the recreation of an old photo in front of the William Huskisson statue that sits outside Dukes Terrace in Liverpool city centre, owned and managed by Regenda’s subsidiary, Redwing Living.

Huskisson, who was MP for Liverpool (1823-30) and an advocate for free trade, is most commonly remembered for his notorious death as the first ever railway fatality, being run over by Stevenson’s Rocket at the opening of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1830.
