St Albans City have signed prolific striker Ralston Gabriel following his departure from Haringey Borough.
Gabriel ended his two-year stay with Borough last month where he scored over 30 times during the club’s promotion-winning term. Previously at Enfield Town, the hitman featured in both of the Saints’ pre-season games to date and has impressed manager Ian Allinson.
“I have to say I think his attitude and work-rate are absolutely top-class,” stressed Allinson.
“He’s 27 now and he’s at that age where he wants to be playing at a higher level so we’re delighted to have him on board. I believe that good strikers will always score goals as long as they have the service, so with the quality of players we already have here at the club – this will be the perfect platform for him to progress and help the team in the process.”
