Stafford Rangers fans may have seen Massiah McDonald in action for the last time this season.

The Montserrat international has been in fine form since arriving on loan from Coalville Town, netting five goals in two FA Trophy games.

And while he has yet to open his account in the league, he has added a physical and technical threat up front.

However, his one-month loan ends this week, and Bor boss Neil kitching said no deal to keep him longer had yet been done with Coalville.

“There’s a lot of conversation going on,” said Kitching.

“We want to keep him, but nothing’s organised, so we’ve got a week to try and sort something out.

“They’re unwilling to let him come and join us and we’re unwilling to pay a transfer fee.

“Mass understands that we can’t and won’t do that for a 27-year-old. We’ll take over his contract at the end of the season, if that’s what Coalville want to do, or we’ll extend his loan.”
