Staines Town are waiting for official confirmation over the fate of the current season before pressing ahead with appointing a new manager.
Paul Barnes resigned from his role at the club early last month, taking over at Guildford City shortly after.
Kevin Rowell, who was confirmed as the club’s new chairman earlier this month, said in relation to the season decision:
“Once the club has been advised of this, we will put out a further statement straight away.
“Needless to say, when the situation is clearer, our timetable for appointing our new manager will also be clarified.
“We thank you for your patience in these difficult times, and we hope to have more information for you very soon.”
