Stalybridge Celtic manager Simon Haworth has agreed a new 18-month contract with the club.
The extended deal will see the former striker continue as manager of the club’s first team and also add leading the academy to his remit.
The 41-year-old, who represented Cardiff City, Coventry City, Wigan Athletic and Tranmere Rovers in his playing career, has been in charge of the Celts since May.
Haworth, who won five caps for the Welsh national team, had previously been in charge at Clitheroe and Eagley.
Stalybridge are currently 12th in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
