Nelson Football Club have signed Jack Hartley on loan from Accrington Stanley for the rest of the season.

The highly rated 18 year old winger will get the chance to gain vital experience with the Admirals and is looking forward to making the most of his time at Little Wembley.

“I’ve come to Nelson to help me improve as a player,” said Hartley, who joined up with his new teamates tonight at his first training session with the Blues. “Hopefully my time here can help me gain a professional contract at Accrington Stanley. I’ve been at Accrington for 5 years and this experience will help me as a player. I can’t wait to get going.”

Manager Paul Fildes was pleased with the signing saying “I’m really looking forward to such a good young talent playing at Nelson. Jack has had a great up bringing in football through his time at Accrington Stanley and is on the verge of signing a pro contract. He’s joined us until the end of the season and will hopefully help us have a good push to climb up the league table.”
