Corby Town manager Gary Mills has continued the re-building of his squad with the capture of striker Jordan Smith from Stamford.
Smith returns to Steel Park, five years after joining the club from Thurnby Nirvana where he netted 47 goals in a single season as a teenager.
Since leaving the Steelmen Smith has enjoyed spells with Boston United, Ilkeston, Grantham Town and Stamford. He also made his international debut for Antigua & Barbuda in the Caribbean Cup in November 2014.
Mills told corbytownfc.co.uk; “Jordan is a huge signing for the club. He turned down the chance to join a team in the Vanarama National League North because he can see what me and David are trying to build here and is excited about the future.
“He provides another piece of the jigsaw for us and is yet another leader and winner to add to the dressing room. He will be able to help our local younger lads to develop.
“I would like to thank Graham Drury for making the deal happen so professionally.”
