Stevenage have announced the signing of Billericay Town striker Femi Akinwande.
The 24-year-old spent last season at Braintree Town and Billericay in the National League South, scoring 12 goals. He joins Stevenage off the back of the announcement that Dover Athletic forward Inih Effiong would be joining the club as they prepare for next season in the National League.
Akinwande told the club’s website: “It feels very, very good. I was waiting for a full-time opportunity, and when I spoke to the gaffer, it was a no-brainer to join.
“He said he has seen my clips and he sent somebody down to watch a few of my games and he was impressed, so I am just very grateful for the opportunity.”
