Dagenham and Redbridge Manager John Still reacted to Tuesday’s defeat to Torquay and looks ahead to Saturday’s game away at Eastleigh.
“Eastleigh are a good side, they have good players and a good infrastructure, I thought that they was always going to be one of the teams battling at the top of the table towards the end of the season”
“This game as any other is going to be tough, and with it being away from home it will make it tougher, but I am happy with our team so I don’t focus too much on the other teams”
“It will be good to see Jamie Cureton on Saturday as he is a good lad and is still a very good player who knows how to find the goals”
“Tuesday night’s game was not the most pleasing result of the season but it was the most pleasing performance of the season as we had ten men and were much the better team”
“I thought our team showed tremendous courage and ability in the game, but during the season we are all going to lose as that’s the fact of life but it is how you respond to getting beat”
“The team responded brilliantly to going down to ten men and we played exactly how we wanted to play, we kept attacking but we just couldn’t find the finish we needed.”
