Weymouth manager Brian Stock called for the Terras to be savvier with game management after a 1-0 defeat at Barnet in the Vanarama National League.
Stock’s men dominated the first half but were suckered in the 45th minute by a brilliant 25-yard strike from Wes Fonguck.
For all the chances Weymouth created, none were taken and the Terras have now gone over 450 minutes without scoring in competitive fixtures.
Speaking post-match to uptheterras.co.uk, Stock felt Fonguck’s winner should have been “stopped at source”.
“It changed my team-talk in a matter of a minute,” he said.
“I’m trying to shout out onto the pitch to have that little bit of understanding, that little bit of professionalism to try and not be naïve to the situation, look at the time, become more compact.”
