Weymouth will not take their “foot off the gas” despite the Terras having no fixture this weekend, say The Dorset Echo.
That is the message of boss Brian Stock, who reiterated the importance of contact time with his players amid a part-time setup.
Stock’s men earned an impressive 2-1 win at Stockport County on Saturday to record their second Vanarama National League victory of the campaign.
And, with elite sport set to continue during the national lockdown, Weymouth will be working hard ahead of hosting Wrexham on front of the BT Sport cameras on Saturday, November 14.
Speaking to Echosport after sinking County, Stock said: “It’s important you make the most of these occasions.
“The team morale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday has been excellent. It’s been a staff and player effort.
“We’ll go into (today) and Thursday and things won’t change, we can’t take our foot off the gas. We’re part-time, so contact time is a premium for us.”
