Stockport County will face AFC Fylde in an all-North West semi-final in the Buildbase FA Trophy, following a 3-0 win away at Maidstone United in last night’s replay.

It is the first time the Hatters, a Football League club for the majority of their 136-year history, have reached the last four of the competition.

Jim Gannon’s side, a division lower than their National League opponents Maidstone, sealed their place thanks to three second-half goals at The Gallagher Stadium.

Jake Kirby struck twice before Jordan Keane put the shine on the victory.

The first leg of the semi-final will take place at Fylde on 16th March, with the Edgeley Park return scheduled for a week later. The winners will face Leyton Orient or AFC Telford United.
