Stockport Town’s first-team management duo Jake Davies and Bobby Lofthouse, along with Under-21s manager Callum Davies, have resigned.
Chairman Rob York commented: “Jake, Bobby and Callum have been outstanding people during their time at the club and I thank them for their dedication over the last 18 months. As a club, we pride ourselves on providing opportunities for young players and coaches and we are happy to be a part of their journey into management.”
Davies first took over in March 2018 and guided the club to the final of the Cheshire Senior Cup within the first few weeks of his tenure. He said: “I would like thank Stockport Town FC for the opportunity to step into this level of football and will always be grateful for the support received.
“I would also like to thank the players who have been an absolute credit to work with during my time at the club. Unfortunately, it is time to move on.
“It has been hard to say goodbye but I wish the Lions the biggest success in the future.”
The club say they aim to make a further announcement on a new manager in the coming days.
