Maidstone United have confirmed that their pre-season friendly against Premier League club Crystal Palace has sold out.
The game was organised to help the Stones celebrate the fifth anniversary of the opening of the Gallagher Stadium.
At the time the game was announced Stones chief executive Bill Williams said: “It will be an absolute honour to welcome Crystal Palace to the Gallagher Stadium this summer and we’re delighted that they will be part of our fifth anniversary celebrations.”
And now they have informed supporters that the game will be a sell-out.
The club tweeted “Palace match is a sellout!
A new record crowd will be at the Gallagher on 15 July as the Stones mark five years since the stadium opened”
