Maidstone United have completed the signing of left-back Joe Anderson.

Formerly with Bromley, the 27-year-old joined Chelsea’s academy as a youngster before moving to Fulham where he made his first-team debut against Manchester City in the Carling Cup.

In 2010, he signed for Lincoln City and made forty-nine appearances for the Imps during their last stint in the Football League.

From there he headed back down south and played for AFC Hornchurch, Billericay Town and Cambridge United.

Anderson joined Bromley in 2013 and made more than 150 appearances in a spell which saw the Ravens win the then Conference (National League) South championship and establish themselves in the top tier of the non-League game.
